Hi, I'm Shelly
I'm Shelly and I've walked in those well-worn shoes of yours. Watching your dog or cat suffer and the stress of not knowing what to do to help them is terrible. Wondering what these gut issues could mean for their future, if could they lead to more serious health problems down the road?
I have also watched, helplessly, while my dog’s health deteriorated, doing everything that I could think of, following all of my vet’s instructions. I tried to change my dog's diet, but couldn’t find a clear-cut, simple whole food recipe. There was a lot of fear on the internet about making your own food for your pet and not killing them in the process. Yet, I kept hearing about dogs and cats on natural diets that were thriving. This inspired me to dig deeper.
I wanted to understand why my best buddy was overweight. In spite of daily exercise, and a balanced diet, he had nutritional deficiencies. Why did he became lethargic and why was his health was declining? Six months before his death, he began overheating easily and developed a limp. He had acupuncture, supplements, lab testing, and more. Jak Jak gradually lost the use of his back legs, sustaining a spinal cord injury, dying one week later. My dog had just turned 4 years old at the time of his death.

My background as a Functional Diagnostic Nutrition Practitioner taught me the foundations of helping people with their health. After losing Jak-Jak, I decided to become a Certified Holistic Pet Health Coach. How It Works
When you enroll in Pawsitive Wellness, I'll develop an individualized plan specifically for your pet designed to fix their gut. Together we will move through the 5-Step PetGut Revival Method…
STEP 1: Remove Inflammatory Offenders
We cut out foods and triggers that spike inflammation and stress your pet's digestive system. You'll finally see what's really causing the imbalance. Food and environment sensitivity testing is included in this step, showing us right away what may be behind your pet’s inflammation.
STEP 2: Replace with safe nutrition
An individualized, nutritionally balanced meal plan will be created specifically for your dog or cat. We will soothe your pet’s GI tract, and give foods and supplements targeted to heal and seal their gut. My goal is to give your pet nutrients to provide fuel, protection, and structural support for gut cells.
STEP 3: Reinoculate
I will help you gently and safely put healthy bacteria in your pet’s gut to balance bacteria that may be a problem when overgrown. We essentially reinoculate your pet’s gut lining which will help remove toxins and allergens in their inner environment.
STEP 4: Reintroduce
After following the routines above, we will slowly begin to expand the diet and reintroduce some of the foods that we previously removed.
STEP 5: Revive: Stress, Self-Care & Environment
One of the biggest drivers of gut issues are environmental toxins (and yes, you and your pet have them!). These toxins mess with our cellular energy production. At last, we’ll dive into how to make your home environmentally safe for you and your pet.

How do I schedule with you?
Just click on one of the several scheduling buttons on this page. It will take you to a place to schedule an intake appointment one-on-one with me, where we can see if we will be a good fit. Meetings will be virtual. Most appointments will be made over Zoom. You will receive a Zoom link prior to our meeting. This meeting is called a "Discovery Call" and will be about 45 minutes.
When does the program start?
Anxious to get started? Me too! We will kick things off after our initial call, after all intake paperwork and payment is received. We will then schedule you bi-weekly, with educational segments on the off-weeks for 90 days.
When does the program end?
Wanting it to end already?! Hahah, no worries. Your program ends 90 days after our initial intake call.
How does the payment work?
